Thanks for visiting our fundraising webpage.  It is our goal to take our 9U South Lake Slugger baseball team to play at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC in July of 2015.  The Ripken Experience is a week long baseball tournament featuring teams from across the country (and possibly some internationally).  It will provide our boys a chance to play against elite competition and also gives them motivation to keep working hard to get better.  The South Lake Sluggers baseball team is comprised of 8 and 9 year old kids from Clermont, FL and surrounding areas in South Lake County.  Our program is 100% self-funded.  The team relies on players' fees, fundraising, and sponsorships to cover all expenses.  Expenses include, but are not limited to, equipment, uniforms, umpires, field rentals, insurance, and tournament fees.  Our coaching staff is 100% volunteer based.  100% of the funds generated by this fund raising effort will benefit the program and the kids!  The entry fee for this week long tournament is $390 per player and the kids need your support.
